SILOMOL is located in the Industrial zone of Nea Michaniona in an area of 1500 m². In the last two years the company has been modernized and moved to new facilities.

Its machines are new, advanced technology and cover all stages of product processing, such as purchase, collection, boiling, deep freezing, packaging and storage.

The well-organized network of refrigerated trucks that the company owns also contributes to the unbeatable quality. Thus, the collection of products from the various ports of Greece and abroad is done with absolute safety ensuring the freshness of the products.

The company of Silo Mol PC has a mussel production unit(mussel farm). Specifically, it was created in 2021 and it is a sea area of 40 acres and 20 meters deep. The farm is located in the outer side of Thermaikos gulf, on the cape between the area of N. Michaniona and Epanomi. Sea currents enter there from the west side of Halkidiki. These currents are rich in sediments and plankton resulting in cleaning and feeding the mussels. This is one of the many reasons why  Silo mol mussels are of unique quality and taste.

The purification and maintenance systems in place in Silo Mol PC are designed to ensure that the product immersed in the tanks finds the natural characteristics of its natural habitat. To complete this effect, the water in the systems is continuously monitored through the control of temperature, salinity, PH, dissolved oxygen, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates before entering the system which is treated with UV lamps, ozone and a biological filter consisting of natural coral and activated carbon. This way, an environment is created in the tank water similar to that of the sea. The adoption of these methodologies has resulted in the elimination of bacterial contamination and stress from the shellfish, all certified by laboratory analyzes performed before the product is placed on the market.
